Properties
Aktivator is a liquid additive for acid non-ferrous metal pickling agents (Cuproten, Cuproten SA). When used in combination with these products, it vastly accelerates the pickling process and the brightening action, as well as ensuring a uniform surface.
Areas of application
Additive for acid metal pickling agents.
Use
Add 5-10% in relation to the content of pickling agent (Cuproten, Cuproten SA) in the pickling bath.
To replenish (i.e. to compensate for used Aktivator) add another 1-2% before using the pickling bath again.
