Use of cookies on CIS PHARMA AG websites

What is a cookie?

Cookies are small text files placed on your computer when you visit a website. Cookies from the CIS Pharma AG website fulfill many different purposes, for example, they enable you to navigate efficiently side by side, save your favorite settings, and generally improve your visit experience on our website.

EU Directive 2009/136 / EC stipulates that we may store cookies which are indispensable for the operation of this website on your computer, but that we must obtain your permission for all further cookies which go beyond this.

Some websites of CIS Pharma AG may also use cookies of the latter type. We do not do this to track individual users or personally identify them, but to gain useful insight into how our websites are used, so that we can continue to improve them in the interests of our users. Without the knowledge from the systems using these cookies, we could not maintain our service offer.

Cookies used by us

If you decide to change the language, font size, or other presentation variations of the website (eg contrast strength), we use special cookies for user interface settings. This means that you do not need to re-create your favorite preferences once selected the next time you visit the site.

When you use areas of the site where registration is required to access the content, we store an “Authentication cookie” on your computer. This allows you to leave the site areas and return without specifying your user data again.

If Adobe Flash is installed on your computer (as is the case on most computers) and you use a video player, we store a “Flash cookie” on your computer. This cookie stores data that is necessary to play video and audio content and store the user’s preferred settings.

CIS Pharma AG wants to understand how visitors use our websites; for this we use web analysis services. These services include the visitors and give us information about the overall behavior of the visitors – for example, what search terms the users bring to the site, how long they typically stay on the site, or how many submissions they call on average. For this purpose we store a “First-Party Analytics Cookie” on your computer.

It is also possible that we use services like Google Analytics to capture web statistics. In this case, Google will store a “third-party cookie” on your computer. This is also the case when we use Google Maps.

All data collected through these cookies is stored and administered by CIS Pharma AG or a subsidiary of our trust in a country in which CIS Pharma AG operates.

For further information on this and on contacting CIS Pharma AG, please refer to the CIS Pharma AG Data Protection Statement.
