Properties
Softenol is a pH-neutral, solvent-free cleaning and degreasing agent. Softenol is particularly gentle on the surface and is suitable for all metals, metal alloys, rubber and plastic surfaces, paints, lacquers and varnishes, textiles, ceramic finishes and concrete surfaces. In these cases, Softenol has proven to be particularly effective for cleaning contaminated workpieces, residues of process cooling water, oil residues, fine residues from metal cutting and dust deposits. Formulated for use across a wide temperature range, Softenol produces its full effect even at room temperature.
Areas of application
Can be used for manual cleaning, in spraying and cleaning equipment, and in immersion/ultrasonic baths.
Metals/metal alloys (e.g. steel, copper, aluminium), silver-plated workpieces.
Rubber and plastic surfaces, varnished, lacquered and painted surfaces (e.g. bodywork parts), textiles, ceramic finishes and concrete surfaces.
Use
Diluted with water in proportions from 1:1 to 1:10, depending on the degree of contamination.
