Utmost precision is the byword of the watch industry. When you’re cleaning the delicate components of a watch movement, you must make sure that as little metal is removed as possible. With metal pickling agents and cleaners from CIS Puretec, the metal treatment process is exceptionally gentle. Cuproten and Cuproten SA are used for desmutting copper and brass surfaces. Both products quickly remove dirt and oxide layers from the metal surface without attacking it. These treatments also provide effective protection against tarnishing.
You can rely on Fertenol or Fertenol MZ/H to eliminate rust, scale layers or metallic dust from iron and steel components. Another benefit: these products prolong component lifetimes as they inhibit hydrogen embrittlement. Fertenol MZ/H contains no phosphoric acid and is recommended if workpieces are nickel or chrome plated.
