Properties

Tenalumin 7 is an acid degreasing and pickling agent that was specifically developed for aluminium surfaces. When used for this purpose, it roughens the surface uniformly and achieves a similar effect to sandblasting. Tenalumin 7 thereby produces an ideal substrate for stove enamelling and other coatings. The product is formulated to prevent the formation of sludge in the bath and to ensure that the pickled items can be rinsed off without problems. Tenalumin 7 is especially suitable for the pre-treatment of aluminium products such as pipes/tubes prior to silver plating.
